Arundel Castle

I came across a couple of CDs I had commercially scanned from the photos I took on my first UK trip in 2001.

A shot of Arundel Castle, West Sussex, taken just as the sun was setting. Construction on the castle began during the reign of Edward the Confessor (1042-1066). From the 11th century onward, the castle has served as a hereditary stately home to several families and is currently the principal seat of the Duke of Norfolk and his family. I wish I had the time to tour the castle when I was in the area, but we were on a pretty tight schedule.
